Privacy Policy - Propix

At Propix we respect your privacy. This document explains how Magen Building Inspection (the "Company") collects, stores, and uses your information, in accordance with applicable privacy law.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Identifying personal information: full name, email address, and phone number — required to create an account, identify you, and contact you.
  • User-uploaded content: property photos, documents, and defect data you upload intentionally.
  • Technical information: IP address, device type, OS version, and activity logs — for security, debugging, and service stability.
  • Usage data: navigation and app usage patterns — to improve UX (aggregated and anonymous only).

2. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data based on one or more of the following:

  • Consent: your explicit consent when registering for the service.
  • Contract performance: processing needed to operate the service we provide you.
  • Legitimate interest: improving the service, preventing fraud, and securing the system.
  • Legal compliance: meeting legal and regulatory requirements.

3. How we use information

Collected information is used only for:

  • Day-to-day operations: running the app, managing your account, and managing properties.
  • Security: account verification, preventing unauthorized access and fraud.
  • Service improvement: analyzing issues, improving performance, and developing features.
  • Operational communication: necessary updates about your account and the service. We will not send marketing without your explicit consent.

4. Data retention

4.1 Data is kept while your account is active, and for up to 30 days after account deletion for technical backup only.

4.2 After 30 days, all personal data and uploaded content are permanently deleted from our systems, including cloud backups.

4.3 Technical security logs are retained for up to 90 days only.

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell or rent your information. Sharing occurs only in these cases:

  • Cloud infrastructure providers: secure cloud storage under data processing agreements (DPA); they may not use data beyond what is required.
  • Legal requirement: court order, competent authority request, or other legal duty — only to the minimum extent required.
  • Merger or acquisition: users will receive prior notice; data transfers remain subject to this policy’s protections.

6. Information security

6.1 We use strict security measures including TLS/SSL, encryption at rest, firewalls, and role-based access control.

6.2 As with any online service, absolute immunity from breaches cannot be guaranteed.

6.3 Breach notice: if a security incident may affect your privacy, we will notify you as soon as possible and no later than 72 hours after discovery, as required by law.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access: obtain information about the data we hold about you.
  • Correction: request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Deletion (“right to be forgotten”): request deletion of your personal data — also available in the app settings.
  • Objection: object to processing not required for core service operation.
  • Portability: receive your data in a structured, readable format.

⚠ Note: Account deletion is irreversible. Once confirmed, all personal data, photos, and properties are permanently deleted and cannot be restored.

8. Cookies and tracking

8.1 The app may use tokens and anonymous identifiers for:

  • Session persistence: keeping you signed in between sessions.
  • Analytics: measuring general usage patterns to improve performance — anonymously, without tracking a specific user.

8.2 We will not use marketing or third-party tracking cookies without your explicit consent.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app and/or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
